UX Designers at The FA are responsible for shaping the user experience of digital products and services across our Digital Technology product portfolio.

Working within agile, cross-functional product teams, you'll play a key role throughout the product lifecycle, from exploring and validating new ideas to continuously enhancing established products.

As a designer, you'll combine creativity, curiosity and problem-solving to champion user-centred design.

Using design-thinking techniques such as user research, wireframing and prototyping, you'll help teams create intuitive, accessible and impactful solutions that meet user needs and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

As part of our Product Design practice, you'll help ensure every experience meets high design and accessibility standards, while contributing to the evolution of our design principles and ways of working.

What will you be doing? 1.

Work as a UX Designer within a cross-functional product team, contributing throughout the product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery and continuous improvement. 2.

Lead discovery and problem-framing activities alongside Product and Research teams, exploring user needs, behaviours and opportunities to bring the voice of the customer into decision-making. 3.

Design end-to-end user experiences across journeys, creating intuitive layouts, flows and interaction patterns that balance user needs, business objectives and technical constraints. 4.

Explore, test and refine solutions using a range of design-thinking techniques, including journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing and user research. 5.

Collaborate closely with agile delivery teams, supporting implementation and ensuring a high-quality user experience throughout the development process. 6.

Represent the Product Design practice within your product team, ensuring outputs meet FA design standards, align with design principles, and adhere to accessibility guidelines and best practice. 7.

Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities. 8.

Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained. 9.
