We are hiring a Mid-weight Videographer to join our in-house studio team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in bringing the Footasylum brand to life at retail, with product and storytelling at the heart of everything we do.

As a Mid-weight Videographer, you’ll be part of an established team of content creators, collaborating with highly experienced producers, photographers, stylists, creatives, and marketing professionals. Footasylum's in-house team is responsible for producing all marketing content; from impactful digital campaigns to dynamic in-store video experiences.

You’ll be passionate about streetwear culture and engaged in the trends that define it. That passion will drive everything you do; from the way you shoot to how you frame a product. You'll ensure that product remains the hero, whether it’s showcased on our website, across our social channels, or in-store on our state-of-the-art digital screens.

Your day-to-day will involve creating video content for social (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), e-commerce (Footasylum website), and creative campaigns for retail screens across our stores nationwide. You’ll also be responsible for any in-store events, helping to extend those moments through compelling content that resonates with our audience.

We are the only UK retailer with the ability to create and produce content for global mega-brands entirely in-house. Working with names like Nike, adidas, New Balance, Oakley, and Berghaus, all from our purpose-built studio at The Sharp Project in Manchester. This role reports directly to the Lead Videographer and is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to help define how our brand shows up on every platform.

The Team

The Studio Team sits within the wider Marketing Department and operates out of The Sharp Project in Manchester. While our physical home is in the studio, we’re in constant collaboration with Head Office and the rest of the business. We work across Footasylum’s Own Brands as well as iconic sportswear and streetwear names. Every day is different, and the pace is fast. From daily eComm shoots to full-blown campaigns and in-store activations, our team thrives on creativity, teamwork, and shared passion for the culture we represent. We’re committed to making content that not only looks amazing but connects deeply with our customer.

About You

You’re creatively driven, culturally tuned-in, and genuinely passionate about streetwear and sportswear culture. You live and breathe streetwear trends and are excited about showcasing that passion through video. Whether it’s sneakers, apparel, or accessories, you understand how product is the hero and know how to bring it to life on screen in a way that resonates with our audience.

You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and love the idea of being involved in everything from the creative concept to final delivery. With a deep understanding of the culture we represent, you’re passionate about making content that speaks to the youth and streetwear community, and you’re eager to be a part of a team that pushes the boundaries of how we present our brand across every touchpoint, online, in-store, and everywhere in between.

You’ll also bring:

  • A product-first mindset: you know how to make every item stand out
  • A deep-rooted passion for streetwear and sportswear culture, and the influence it has on fashion and lifestyle
  • A pro-active approach and a desire to learn and grow within the video team
  • Basic knowledge of editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
  • Basic camera knowledge (Arri Alexa, Red, BlackMagic, Sony)
  • A solid understanding of social and digital platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
