Description

We are hiring for a Full-Time Store Supervisor to join one of our exciting new stores opening later this year at Croft Retail Park, Bromborough, Birkenhead.

Please note: As a Team Leader at our new store opening on the Retail Park, you’ll join the business as soon as possible to complete your training, likely held at a nearby store.

There’s an established team in place, and you will work directly with them to help create the best customer shopping experience. Footasylum is a business that values our front-end retail staff.

The primary function of a Supervisor is to oversee retail staff’s work in the store environment. You will monitor employee activity, solve problems daily, and assist customers when needed.

You will work in a thriving store, and your daily tasks will vary. Part of your role will include supporting the Store Manager to ensure the team maximizes sales, maintains a service-first mentality, adheres to company standards, and provides an excellent shopping experience for customers.

We invest in training and development, and this role is no different. Our goal is to foster an environment where employees can achieve, develop, and progress. You will be supported throughout your journey, with regular 1-2-1’s, training, and support, plus all the tools needed to thrive and feel empowered.

We have a strong track record of progression, support, and training. Many team members have advanced within the company or taken on new opportunities. Your development is our priority, and we aim to support you in achieving your goals.

Why Footasylum?

We’ve grown significantly over recent years. We are vibrant, engaged, and perform well. Innovation is key to our business, and we focus on delivering value across our retail estate.

We aim to create a workplace where colleagues can do their best work. You will have opportunities to influence decisions, help define retail standards, and contribute to a positive working environment.

About you:

  • You should have a passion for fashion retail and align with our company ethos.
  • Previous experience in fashion retail is preferred.
  • Experience in managing and motivating a team of sales assistants.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient, highly organized, with a customer-focused attitude.

Diversity:

We value diversity, believing it brings different perspectives that improve our service to colleagues and customers. Building happy, inclusive teams that learn from each other is central to our approach.

Recruitment process:

We review applications individually. If we think you’re a good fit, we’ll invite you for an informal face-to-face chat to discuss the role and see if we’re a good match. We value open, honest conversations and collaboration, and want to learn about you and why you’re interested in this opportunity.
