We are looking for a motivated Quality Control Team Leader to work within our Product Creation Centre Quality Control team, supporting the QC Supervisor and closely working with wider teams including Product Development, Supply Chain, and Warehouse functions to deliver the best-in-class products for UK and International Footasylum stores and ecommerce, as well as UK and International Wholesale partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead the in-house QC inspectors on all bulk production checks to ensure all products are in line with approved standards and delivered within specified timeframes to meet critical path deadlines.
- Provide feedback to QC Supervisor, Product Development team, and overseas factories when needed.
- Work with the wider teams to support the end-to-end Quality Control process, ensuring the achievement of best-in-class multi-category products according to the required standards.
- Maintain partnerships with all internal teams (e.g., Product Development, Supply Chain, Warehouse).
- Demonstrate an understanding of size specifications.
- Mentor and support the QC Inspection team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development through clear direction and feedback, identifying individual training needs, and encouraging collaborative working.
- Keep the QC log up to date by liaising with relevant teams.
- Create AQL inspection sheets and measurement sheets for in-house inspections and third-party inspections when needed.
- Analyze AQL reports and intervene when issues arise.
- Assist QC Supervisor in arranging shipment samples for QC inspections and ensuring correct logging.
- Record and investigate customer returns and coordinate corrective action plans with factories and relevant teams.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' Quality Control experience within the apparel industry.
- Collaborative team player, able to react quickly to changing demands and priorities.
- Good computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
