Description
We are hiring a Product & Brand Manager (Global Product Manager) to drive Sports and Fashion Own Brand Apparel strategy and delivery of business goals, both in the UK and globally. Working closely with Product Creation, the Commercial Team, and Buying Functions, you will be responsible for ensuring best-in-class Own Brand product to service Footasylum, DTC sites, and wholesale partners.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Global Product Management in developing and implementing a comprehensive Own Brand Strategy for each Own Brand across multiple seasons/years, working with key stakeholders.
- Deliver seasonal product briefs to the Product Creation Team relevant to target consumers for Footasylum, UK Wholesale, and International Wholesale/Franchise partners.
- Ensure products meet all channel needs during the design and development phases.
- Manage the launch of products across all channels.
- Oversee Wholesale/Distributor SMU programs and requests.
- Participate in a ‘Trend’ team to identify new brand opportunities and current category extensions.
- Support the Legal Team with input on trademark registration requirements.
- Lead the development of direct reports through coaching and HR tools such as PDPs and Check-Ins.
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sports Fashion and High Street Fashion Buying/Product roles, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills internally and externally.
- Global experience is preferred.
- Experience working with and developing apparel brands and seasonal collections.
- Strong research, product category, and range creation skills across multiple markets.
- Critical understanding of market trends, price points, and the competitive landscape to keep brands and collections relevant.
- Experience in creating and executing strategies.
- Forward-thinking and reactive to market changes to ensure Footasylum remains competitive and meets consumer demands.
- International travel will be required for this role.
