We are hiring for an Assistant Store Manager to join one of our exciting NEW stores opening in Spring 2026 in Merthyr Tydfil at Cyfarthfa Shopping Park. This is a brand new store. As the new assistant store manager, alongside the new store manager, you will be heavily involved in the selection and recruitment of your new team. Until the store opens, you will be based in another nearby store for training.

About the role:

  • An Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the store’s day-to-day responsibilities.
  • You will take on managerial tasks such as overseeing employees, modelling effective leadership and offering excellent customer service.
  • A primary responsibility is to carry out the Manager’s role in their absence.
  • This role provides training to advance to the Store Manager position.

We invest in training and development and this role will be no different. We support your journey with regular 1-2-1’s, training, and support and give you all the tools to thrive and feel empowered.

About You:

  • Proven experience in fashion retail, ideally in a managerial role within a fast‑paced environment.
  • A strong track record of leading, motivating, and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a customer‑first mindset.
  • A deep understanding of the fashion industry and current market trends.
