A genuine passion for streetwear, footwear, and youth culture is essential – we want someone who understands our customer and is excited to help shape how we show up visually across all channels.

You\’ll work closely with a team of experienced creatives to shoot a range of content, while learning how to produce work that meets both creative and commercial objectives.

The Team

Our in-house studio is collaborative and hands-on. We also work closely with the Social, Marketing and Buying teams based at head office. Together we work hard, stay flexible, and thrive on fast-paced, ever-changing deadlines. We\\\’re a team in every sense, and we take pride in the work we create together.

Footasylum is one of the UK\\\’s leading omni-channel retailers – but more importantly, it\\\’s a great place to grow. We value development and our goal is to create a fun, supportive environment where your success drives ours.

Responsibilities

  • You will be assisting in the day-to-day running of e-commerce sets, working closely with styling, following the guides, ensuring set consistency and final image delivery.
  • You will be shooting product and styling content for social, aligned to seasonal and brand briefs.
  • You will be assisting senior photographers and creatives on campaign shoots (studio & location).
  • You will help maintain studio standards, including lighting setups, file handling, and equipment upkeep.
  • You will be working closely with stylists, models, retouch, creative and studio producers to keep production moving efficiently.

About You

  • A genuine passion for streetwear, footwear, and youth culture – someone who understands the audience and trends.
  • A portfolio that shows strong creative potential – whether personal, academic, or freelance.
  • Basic experience in a studio or shoot environment, with a willingness to learn and a hands-on approach.
  • Strong familiarity with lighting (Profoto is preferred), Canon, Adobe software and Capture One.
  • A fierce can-do attitude and a strong initiative that strives for more.
  • Demonstrates strong potential to develop the confidence and skills needed to lead a campaign shoot in the future.

Why Footasylum?

We are one of the leading omni-channel retailers across the UK, but more than that we are a brilliant place to work. We value you and your development. We have loads of examples of people moving upwards, across to other departments and given training to excel their personal and professional skills. Our aim is to create a fun environment, where your success is paramount to ours and you are given the right tools, support and platform to achieve your goals.

Diversity

We recognise and value the importance of diversity to help make sure we have lots of different perspectives when we are building services to customers and the wider business. This is great news for our business. Diversity for us is also, importantly, about building happy teams full of people that want to learn and want to be inspired by each other and our different experiences and backgrounds.

Recruitment Process

We review applications on an individual basis, and if we feel you would be a good fit we\\\’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role, and to see if we\\\’re a good fit for you.

We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, giving you a chance to learn about what we are doing in an informal and friendly environment. We want to know about you and why you feel that this is the opportunity for you.

Please note, this is not a remote role and our expectation is that you will be able to attend Studio in a hybrid way, in Manchester.
