Description

As a Junior Creative, you will join our Creative Team within the Footasylum Marketing Department, ensuring a consistent visual tone of voice across all Footasylum touch points. Generating and developing creative concepts and managing them through the pre and postproduction process.

Working within the Creative Team demands a range of responsibilities including answering Marketing briefs, producing creative campaign concept documents and collaborating with the Studio and wider Marketing team to ensure all campaigns come to fruition.

The Team

The Creative team functions as a part of the larger Marketing department and we work extremely closely with Brand, Ecommerce and the Studio team to bring campaigns to the life.

Reporting into the Creative Lead, you will have weekly meetings to discuss ongoing workload and goal setting. You will also have the opportunity for quarterly meetings to discuss longer term strategy and goal setting.

Our goal is to create an environment in which you can learn new skills, gain experience in existing ones and improve your knowledge of the consumer continually. You will be supported in your journey and will be pushed to take on new challenges and expand your knowledge.

The Studio is a dynamic and exciting place to work with every day being different. We have eComm running daily, as well as teams working on social and creative photoshoots. The team strive to create amazing content, always wanting to progress and develop their skills. Teamwork is huge over at the studio. We work collaboratively, supporting and encouraging one another to produce work which we are proud of. It is a fast-paced environment with new jobs being discussed, planned, and shot every day.

About You

A perfect opportunity for someone looking to take their first steps in the industry or with limited experience within a fashion or design role. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for streetwear and looking to soak up the experience but not afraid to challenge the norm with consumer and cultural input.

We are looking for someone to bring vibrance and energy into a studio environment and have the confidence to art direct in a busy on set environment.

To be successful in this role you should be able to confidentially communicate your ideas, successfully implement feedback and be receptive to changing consumer needs and industry trends.

Ideally you will have:

  • Studied relevant arts subject into higher education or have relevant experience within the creative industries.
  • Solid understanding of creative concept generation
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Some graphic design experience
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible in a reactive environment
  • Familiar with receiving feedback and implementing into work
  • Excellent grasp of industry trends and passion for streetwear and footwear
  • Understanding of digital and physical campaign delivery
  • Excellent collaborator

This is great news for our business. Diversity for us is also, importantly, about building happy teams full of people that want to learn and want to be inspired by each other and our different experiences and backgrounds.

Recruitment Process

We review applications on an individual basis, and if we feel you would be a good fit we’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role, and to see if we’re a good fit for you.

We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, giving you a chance to learn about what we are doing in an informal and friendly environment. We want to know about you and why you feel that this is the opportunity for you.

Please note, this is not a remote role and our expectation is that you will be able to attend Studio in a hybrid way, in Manchester. #J-18808-Ljbffr
