The Role:
Reporting to the Buying Manager you will work towards taking full ownership of selected brands within SEVENSTORE’s roster, with the support of the Buying Manager and wider buying team. You will have a direct influence on the business, working closely with other departments to ensure any commercial opportunities are maximised, whilst maintaining the SEVENSTORE brand.
Reponsiblities:
  • Manage and develop brand portfolio
  • Develop relationships with the existing supplier base, while seeking new ones
  • Competent and confident in managing brand relationships
  • Maintain communication with brands, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action
  • Ensure excellent communication and interaction with other departments within the business
  • Brand mix/category reporting and planner creation
  • Contribute towards the category buying strategy by informing consumer-centric decision making
  • Attending selected key meetings in a support and learning capacity with the Buying Manager
  • Have ownership and accountability for own stable of brands
  • Initiate and research new business opportunities
  • Participate and contribute to trade and strategy meetings
  • Research and present brand, product group and consumer profiles for internal insights
  • Research trips to our Baltic Triangle store, competitors and relevant events to provide key information on new trends which will then be presented to the team
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience within a buying multi category buying department with at least 2 years experience
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong level of market awareness and an understanding of where SEVENSTORE lives within this ecosystem
