The Role: Reporting into the Buying Manager as Senior Buyer you are responsible for your own business brand portfolio as well as contributing to the development/management of the wider buying team. You will also contribute to the business brand strategy through managing and nurturing existing brand relationships & new brand acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the development of Buyers, Assistant Buyers and Buyers admins through continuous coaching and support.
  • Ability to buy across all divisions, categories and product groups.
  • Taking complete accountability and ownership of their product file.
  • Competently and confidently managing brand relationships.
  • Researching, initiating and driving new business opportunities.
  • Possessing and demonstrating extensive knowledge of the full product file.
  • Collating and presenting budget and business performance reviews externally to major brands.
  • Maintaining strong relationships internally with departments business-wide.
  • Sharing regular market knowledge insights with the wider team and presenting an educated viewpoint.
  • Budget planning alongside the wider buying & merchandising teams.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience at Buyer level or senior working with a global brand portfolio.
  • Strong level of market awareness and an understanding of where SEVENSTORE lives within this ecosystem, both domestically and internationally.
  • Extensive knowledge of brands and products relevant to SEVENSTORE.
