Overview

It’s all about enhancing the in-store customer experience. If you love discussing athletic sneakers and apparel as much as collecting them, this role is for you. You should be able to initiate natural, friendly conversations, adapt to various customer types, and resolve issues with a smile. Additionally, teaching others to do the same is part of the role. As a team leader, you will drive sales to maximize profits following division standards. Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to meet personal and productivity goals. When the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent, you will assume leadership and managerial responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of retail experience
  • Confidence and comfort in engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
  • Motivated by enthusiasm for interacting with customers and athletic products to achieve great results
  • Proactive in completing tasks without supervision
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and motivate your team to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about all products and collaborating with colleagues to provide excellent service
  • Meet sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations
  • Maintain personal and team productivity goals
  • Uphold the quality and productivity standards of the store
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, Assistant Manager, and Store Manager
  • Learn and share expertise on products and trends to meet customer needs
  • Stay informed about current and upcoming products and trends
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
