What you’ll do We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic events professional to take ownership of our established programme of internal and external events during a maternity cover period.
Working closely with colleagues across Client Development and the wider business, you’ll help deliver a varied calendar of in-person and virtual events that strengthen client relationships, raise our profile and support business growth.
From planning and promotion through to on-the-day delivery and post-event reporting, you’ll play a key role in creating engaging, high-quality experiences for our clients, contacts and colleagues.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, building relationships and delivering events that make a real impact.
In this role, you’ll
- Event Management: Coordinate and deliver a programme of internal and external events, both in-person and virtual, ensuring a high-quality experience for attendees.
- Stakeholder Support: Work closely with partners, lawyers and colleagues across the business to plan and deliver events that meet agreed objectives.
- Event Marketing: Support the promotion of events through invitations, attendee communications, website content and targeted campaigns to drive attendance and engagement.
- Project Coordination: Manage multiple events at different stages, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- Event Delivery: Coordinate all event logistics, including venues, suppliers, registrations, event platforms and on-the-day support.
- External Events & Sponsorships: Help manage the firm’s participation in external events, sponsorships and speaking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development, Strategic Communications and Client teams to deliver a consistent and professional client experience.
- Reporting & Insights: Track attendance and event outcomes, providing reports and recommendations to support future planning and continuous improvement.
- Supplier & Budget Management: Support the management of event budgets and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and successful delivery.

What we’re looking for We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and brings:
- Events experience: Proven experience delivering corporate/professional B2B events.
- Commercial mindset: An understanding of how events can support client relationships, business development and brand awareness.
- Organisation & planning: Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time.
- Marketing & communications: Experience promoting events and engaging audiences through effective communications and campaigns.
- Proactive approach: A solutions-focused self-starter who takes ownership, works independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: A positive team player who builds strong relationships and enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders.
- Event technology: Experience using event platforms, CRM systems and Microsoft Office to manage registrations, communications, surveys and reporting.
Experience with Click Dimensions, Microsoft Teams Webinars and Slido would be an advantage.
- Data & insights: Comfortable using event data and feedback to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Sports & sponsorships (desirable): Experience supporting sports events, sponsorship activations or hospitality programmes would be beneficial.
