What you’ll do
- Process financial data accurately, including payments, receipts and client account transactions.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and other routine accounting tasks.
- Follow clear processes and procedures (including learning all about Solicitors Accounts Rules).
- Work with financial systems and spreadsheets to keep records up to date.
- Develop strong organisation and prioritisation skills in a busy environment.
- Support the wider Accounts team during peak periods when needed.
- Commit to a fixed‑term contract of 8 months, contributing consistently throughout.

- Previous office experience in an administrative, accounts, finance or data‑entry focused role.
- An interest (or experience) in numbers, finance or working with financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and a careful, methodical approach to work.
- Confidence following processes and handling repetitive tasks accurately.
- Basic to intermediate IT skills (Excel, Outlook and Word).
- Good organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn within a supportive team.
