Reporting directly to our Head of Software and Data Engineering you’ll identify, develop and own a portfolio of technology-enabled products and services that deliver tangible value to our clients and colleagues. Working at the intersection of legal expertise, technology and client service, you’ll help turn innovative ideas into market-leading solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Drive Foot Anstey’s innovation agenda by identifying opportunities across legal technology, automation, AI, managed legal services and legal operations.
  • Build and prioritise a roadmap of products and solutions aligned with client needs and the firm’s strategic objectives.
  • Act as Product Owner for a portfolio of innovation products, taking ownership from concept through to launch, adoption and continuous enhancement.
  • Work closely with Client Partners and Practice Groups to develop innovative, client-focused solutions and bring them to market.
  • Translate business and client requirements into clear product specifications for our Engineering & Architecture teams.
  • Support client pitches, panel reviews and proposals by showcasing the value of our innovative solutions.
  • Build and manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners to enhance and expand our service offering.
  • Collaborate across Technology & Transformation to ensure products are successfully designed, delivered and supported.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and creative problem-solving across the firm.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in product ownership, product management or innovation roles within a professional services environment, ideally legal.
  • A strong understanding of legal technology, automation, AI and managed legal service delivery models, with experience of leading platforms such as HighQ, Litera Foundation 365, Contract Express, Copilot, Claude and iManage, alongside other emerging legal technology and AI solutions.
  • Proven experience managing product lifecycles, gathering requirements, prioritising backlogs and working within agile delivery environments.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders, clients and technical teams.
  • Experience supporting client pitches, proposals or presentations.
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and experience developing business cases.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • A curious, innovative mindset and enthusiasm for identifying new ways to improve client outcomes.
