Team: Accounts

Location: Hybrid working – Plymouth

Working Pattern: Full time

What you’ll do:

  • Process financial data accurately, including payments, receipts and client account transactions.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and other routine accounting tasks.
  • Follow clear processes and procedures, including learning Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Use financial systems and spreadsheets to keep records up to date.
  • Develop strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a busy environment.
  • Support the wider Accounts team during peak periods when needed.
  • Commit to a fixed‑term contract of 8 months, contributing consistently throughout.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous office experience in an administrative, accounts, finance or data‑entry focused role.
  • Interest or experience in numbers, finance or working with financial data.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Confidence following processes and handling repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Basic to intermediate IT skills (Excel, Outlook and Word).
  • Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn within a supportive team.
