Job Description
As the ideal candidate, you will have sound judgement, be meticulous, have a high level of attention to detail and be very organized and physically fit, all pivotal in ensuring an exceptional greeting with a warm and professional demeanour. You will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, partners, and employees, working collaboratively with the Business Services team. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the services and procedures, you will be responsible for delivering an end-to-end customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing concierge duties, including welcoming clients, customers, partners, and employees, and providing a site induction.
- Managing access control for staff, visitors, and contractors onsite.
- Carrying out daily Health & Safety checks.
- Prompt response to emergencies, ensuring that the necessary action is taken at the time of the event.
- Completion of accident, incident and near miss reports.
- Challenging and handling confrontational situations in a calm, professional and legal manner when required.
- Awareness of vulnerable persons and understanding cultural differences in interactions.
- Undertaking a range of admin tasks, including meeting room and car park bookings.
- Meeting room and event set up & clear down.
- Assisting with the provision of food and beverage service.
- Event support.
- Fire Marshal and First Aider.
- Occasional out of hours support.
Qualifications and Experience
- An SIA trained Supervisor or Security Guarding licence, or willingness to attain one.
- Previous experience of working in a high-end hospitality or front-of-house environment is essential.
- Experience working within a professional, corporate security environment.
- Food Hygiene Level 3, or willingness to attain one.
- Enjoy dealing with people at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Intermediate IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g., Excel).
