Senior Content Designer
Weâre looking for a Senior Content Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of customers interact with sophisticated digital products in the media, entertainment, and connectivity space.
Youâll work within a value stream, partnering with multiple product teams to design content that is clear, inclusive, and grounded in user needs, while also driving measurable business outcomes. This is a role for someone who is confident operating autonomously, brings strong editorial judgement, and can influence product direction through content.
Youâll be supported by senior design leadership, while also acting as a senior voice for content design, helping to raise the bar across teams and contribute to a growing, maturing discipline.
What youâll be doing:
- Own and deliver content across end-to-end customer journeys, covering both assisted and digital touchpoints
- Craft clear, human, and accessible content aligned to user needs, organisational goals, and content standards
- Work directly in design tools alongside product designers, shaping content in context, not in isolation
- Partner with multiple product teams within your value stream, embedding content into the product development lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with engineering, research, design, and optimisation specialists
- Engage and influence stakeholders across the businessâbringing clarity, aligning teams, and driving decisions through evidence
Evidence-led practice
- Plan and run unmoderated content testing (e.g. using UserTesting)
- Work with research teams to shape and contribute to moderated research where needed
- Use analytics and behavioural data to evaluate performance, iterate, and make confident, insight-led recommendations
- Define and maintain clear information hierarchies across journeys and platforms
- Ensure content meets WCAG accessibility standards, championing plain language and inclusive design
- Proactively identify and resolve accessibility challenges in collaboration with design and engineering
Raising the standard
- Contribute to evolving content patterns, frameworks, and ways of working
- Drive consistency and scalability through shared standards and reusable patterns
- Act as a senior advocate for content designâcoaching others and demonstrating its strategic value
What youâll bring
- Proven experience as a Senior Content Designer working on digital products or services within large, complex organisations
- A strong track record of designing content across multiple journeys and touchpoints, balancing user, business, legal, and brand considerations
- Experience working in multidisciplinary product teams, partnering effectively with designers, engineers, and researchers
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate decisions clearly and influence outcomes
- Hands-on experience planning and running content testing, and applying research and data to improve outcomes
- Deep understanding of information architecture, accessibility, and inclusive content design
- Confidence operating with a high degree of autonomyâknowing when to lead, challenge, and collaborate
Nice to have
- Exposure to optimisation and analytics tools such as ContentSquare and Customer Journey Analytics (training provided)
