Overview

At PAK\’nSAVE Timaru, our storeroom is an integral part of our business. Every single item that is on our shelves comes through here. It’s interesting, varied, busy and we have a great team. All we need is you!

We’re on the hunt for organised, motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our Inwards Goods team.

Responsibilities

  • Unload Trucks
  • Assess deliveries for damage or food safety issues
  • Ensure temperatures checks are completed and recorded
  • Deliver stock to the correct departments
  • Verify that what is on the packing slip is what we actually receive
  • Maintain cleanliness in the storeroom
  • Break down orders. This is the bulk of your day and probably the most important. All that stock needs to be moved to the correct aisle so our Grocery team can put it on the shelf!

Who you are

Although experience is awesome – attitude is everything to us.

You will need to

  • Have a current forklift license.
  • Be confident to reject orders if they don’t meet our standards
  • Happy to have a physical role that involves standing and repetitive heavy lifting
  • Be accurate with your work
  • Must be able to use a computer (well actually it’s more like a tablet)

Job details

This is a full time role: Tuesday to Saturday (hours to be discussed)
