The Role

Foodsteps is hiring a commercially‐minded Customer Success Manager to act as the main contact across our key client accounts. You will build strategic account plans, maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identify growth opportunities. Central to success is clear, ongoing communication with clients and with the Foodsteps team to ensure quality and trust. We’re looking for motivated candidates with great people skills, commercial aptitude, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand clients' needs deeply and have great instincts for how best to support them
  • Build loyalty with customers to ensure long‐term retention and expansion
  • Own commercial targets within strategic accounts
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and brief senior stakeholders within Foodsteps
  • Share client insights with Customer Success, Impact and Product teams clearly and readably
  • Initiate improvements to customer experience and internal operations, and share these innovations
  • Conduct product demonstrations for customers

Must haves:

  • 5+ years experience in B2B account management or customer success
  • Commercially minded, with experience owning and delivering against renewal and expansion targets
  • Ability to build engaging proposals responding to customer needs and identifying future opportunities
  • Experience dealing with a range of customer types, from small to large businesses, and from C‐suite to operational roles
  • A people person, with great communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Ability to communicate complex, technical information in an easy‐to‐understand way
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem‐solving
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Interest in food sustainability and carbon accounting
  • Collaborative and creative working style
  • Comfortable working with data

  • Confidence in understanding and communicating food sustainability concepts
  • Experience working in a tech or data company
  • Experience working in the food sector
  • Proficient in using HubSpot for Deal management
  • Knowledge of Monday.com for project management

Salary, Benefits and Location:

Reporting to: Head of Customer Success

Team: Impact

Salary range: £54,000–£64,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Location: Central London office, hybrid
