As a Product Owner at Foods Connected, you play a central role in shaping the evolution of our platform. You will be responsible for contributing to and communicating the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the delivery of high-value features that align with customer needs and business goals.
Your responsibilities include:
- Driving the development of new features in line with the Product Roadmap.
- Acting as the voice of the customer.
- Managing the team’s backlog and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with the Group Product Manager and Head of Product to align product initiatives with the overall product strategy and company vision.
- Translating high-level product strategy into detailed user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitoring product performance, gathering user feedback, and iterating on features to drive continuous improvement.
- Supporting go-to-market planning and collaborating with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Driving innovation by identifying trends and exploring new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, with a track record of delivering value-driven product increments.
- Utilisation of AI tools to support efficiency gains.
- Ability to translate complex client needs into clear, concise requirements.
- Familiarity with modern software development tools and methodologies, including Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centered design mindset.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
