The Implementation Manager will play a central role in delivering and supporting Foods Connected's managed service offering, working closely with the Head of Implementation to drive successful adoption of our platform across new and existing customers. The primary focus of this role is our Procurement & Supply Chain product suite, with particular emphasis on our Strategic Procurement & Protein Optimise solutions. You will take ownership of key client accounts — including some of Europe's largest food retailers — ensuring our tools are embedded effectively within their procurement and supply chain operations and continue to deliver measurable value over time. This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role that combines project management, functional expertise, and relationship management. A willingness to travel is essential, as you will work on-site with clients to understand their operational challenges and implement solutions that drive real improvement.

- CUSTOMER SUCCESS LEADERSHIP & IMPLEMENTATION – 75%
- Work closely with the Head of Implementation to plan and deliver new client projects, from kick-off through to go-live.
- Be a regular, reliable presence for existing customers — checking in, understanding their needs and identifying where we can do more.
- Keep clients informed on buying activity and market conditions, turning data into clear and useful commercial context.
- Put together presentations, reports and proposals that clearly communicate the value Foods Connected is delivering.
- Configure and demo the platform for customers, making sure they're getting the most out of our tools.
- Work with internal teams to build reporting structures that give customers better insight.
- Spot new data sources that could improve the quality of our customer reporting and analysis.
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT – 25%
- Manage project delivery within agreed timelines, ensuring milestones are met and commitments to clients are upheld.
- Build and maintain project plans within Foods Connected's internal systems, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress.
- Proactively identify risks or delays and escalate appropriately to ensure projects remain on track.
- Hold yourself and others accountable to delivery deadlines, with a clear focus on closing out projects on time and to the agreed scope.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2+ years’ experience in a commercial role (buying, selling, planning or procurement); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years’ experience in the meat or protein industry.
- Strong understanding of livestock deconstruction, yield management & product costing.
- Ability to analyse customer data in detail to identify opportunities.
- Experience working with software systems in a food industry context — covering production, quality, supplier management or procurement.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, the Implementation Manager should have experience with:
- Confident presenting to and leading client meetings.
- Able to take full ownership of customer relationships and deliver projects and professional services end-to-end.
- Advanced Excel skills — comfortable with detailed data analysis.
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to build and deliver presentations.
- Solid understanding of product costings and yield management.
- Able to identify continuous improvement opportunities and articulate ROI.
