This role will operate within a shared services model and work in close alignment with the VP of Professional Services to ensure consistency in methodologies, governance, and customer experience globally. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Change Managers, Business Analysts, and Implementation Specialists, driving best-in-class practices for project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The Director of Delivery will be accountable for delivering projects across Foods Connected’s specialist areas, including Compliance & Quality, Animal Welfare, Procurement, and Protein Optimization. Success in this role means creating scalable frameworks for enterprise rollouts, fostering collaboration across Professional Services, Sales, and Product teams, and ensuring Foods Connected delivers measurable outcomes for customers. Some travel will be required to engage with clients and regional teams in EMEA, North America and APAC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Delivery Leadership – 50%
- Own end-to-end delivery of SaaS implementation projects Globally across Foods Connected markets.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards for all projects.
- Drive efficiencies and increase gross margin on professional services.
- Implement governance frameworks, risk management, and escalation processes.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-project reviews and lessons learned.
- Align regional delivery practices with global standards.
- Ensure consistent methodologies across shared services units for compliance, animal welfare, procurement, and protein optimisation.
- Optimize project applications for project planning, task prioritization, and resource allocation across EMEA, North America and APAC.
- Deliver on the regional ways of working model.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and milestones through integrated dashboards and reporting.
- Utilisation of AI tools to support efficiencies across working practices.
- Team Management & Development – 30%
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Change Managers, Business Analysts, and Implementation Specialists.
- Develop career pathways and training programs for regional delivery teams.
- Forecast resources and manage capacity planning for multi-country projects using Foods Connected’s internal planning applications.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centric delivery across regions.
- Strategic & Commercial Support – 20%
- Collaborate with Sales on RFPs and pre-sales engagements for enterprise opportunities.
- Provide input into pricing strategies and Statements of Work for enterprise accounts.
- Act as a regional subject matter expert for delivery best practices and shared services alignment.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
To perform this job successfully, the Director of Delivery - Professional Services should have experience with and knowledge of:
- Proven experience in project delivery leadership within SaaS or enterprise software.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-country implementations with strict timelines and budgets.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and aligning regional practices with global standards.
- Strong experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AI tools and opportunities to support integrations and improve efficiencies.
- Expertise in project management tools including Teamwork and Jira for planning, resource management, and budget tracking.
- Knowledge of SaaS implementation methodologies and governance.
- Understanding of food industry compliance and quality standards.
Desirable:
- Project Management Certifications: PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile/Scrum.
- Change Management: Prosci or APMG Change Management Practitioner.
