IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU? We're building an AI Enablement capability to drive meaningful, responsible AI adoption across the organisation. This role sits at the centre of making AI enablement work in practice. You'll be the person who gets into the detail with business teams, understands what they actually need, works out what's feasible, and helps bring the right solutions to life, responsibly and with proper governance.
It's a role that requires range and adaptability. On any given week you might be facilitating a discovery workshop with a department head, assessing a vendor's product against a live business problem, supporting a pilot rollout, or presenting a benefits case to a senior stakeholder. The common thread is being able to move between contexts, ask the right questions, and translate what you find into something useful, whether that's a recommendation, a risk flag, a training session, or a structured opportunity assessment.
The role will require someone who has operated in versatile environments- such as consulting, business transformation, or similar roles where you've had to get up to speed quickly, work across organisational boundaries, and deliver clear thinking under pressure. You'll work closely with the Head of AI Enablement, our Change and Transformation team, and AI Enablement Engineers, contributing to a joined-up approach to how AI gets implemented across Foods Connected to drive efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Opportunity Discovery, Problem Framing & Capability Building
- Work directly with business teams to identify where AI, automation, and data can add genuine value, through structured formats including hackathons, workshops, and discovery sessions, as well as ad hoc requests.
- Help teams articulate what they actually need rather than just taking the brief at face value, and assess whether it is feasible given technical, data, and governance constraints.
- Distil findings into clear, actionable problem statements that can be progressed through the implementation pipeline.
- Facilitate cross-functional sessions — hackathons, process discovery workshops, Knowledge sharing and training sessions — with the ability to hold structure, draw out contributions, and leave participants with clarity on next steps.
- Deliver training on AI tools and ways of working to build literacy and confidence across the organisation.
- Maintain enough working knowledge of AI and automation capabilities to have honest, grounded conversations with business teams.
- Qualification & Benefits Tracking
- Qualify inbound opportunities against consistent criteria, assessing feasibility, effort, risk, and potential value to ensure decisions about what to progress are evidence-based.
- Work with stakeholders to establish baselines before implementation and agree what success looks like for each initiative.
- Track whether expected benefits materialise post-implementation — time saved, error rates, adoption targets, or other agreed measures.
- Translate outcomes into business terms and present a clear picture of where value is and isn't being delivered.
- Contribute to reporting on AI enablement progress across the organisation.
- Ensure learnings from each project are captured and feed into future decisions rather than remaining siloed.
- Work closely with the compliance team on AI Governance and Risk Assessment measures and mechanisms.
- Market Awareness, Vendor Engagement & Pilot Assessment
- Maintain a working understanding of the AI landscape — what's available, what's maturing, and what's relevant to Foods Connected's context.
- Engage directly with vendors, asking the right questions and assessing whether what's being offered genuinely fits the problem at hand.
- Structure and run pilot assessments, defining success criteria, data collection requirements, and evaluation approach upfront.
- Produce clear recommendations at the end of each assessment, with supporting rationale.
- Apply consistent evaluation discipline rather than defaulting to the most visible tools in the market.
- Systems Knowledge & Internal Tooling
- Develop and maintain a working understanding of Foods Connected's business systems and how they connect, such as Gong, HubSpot, Claude, Kantata.
- Identify where AI can sensibly be layered into existing tools and workflows.
- Understand how enterprise systems talk to each other, where access controls matter, and what the practical limits of integration look like — and use that understanding to hold informed conversations with technical teams and relay automation, agent, and integration requirements in a way that AI Enablement Engineers can act on.
- Implementation Support & Cross-functional Execution
- Support the execution of approved AI initiatives alongside Change and Transformation colleagues and AI Enablement Engineers.
- Help design pilots, coordinate rollout, and track progress against agreed milestones.
- Support training and onboarding to ensure users are set up to succeed with new tools.
- Gather and synthesise feedback during and after implementation to inform iteration decisions.
- Act as the connective tissue between business teams, technical delivery, and the governance process.
To perform this job successfully, the AI Enablement Manager should have experience with:
- Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A background that has required working across multiple teams and functions, adapting quickly to new contexts, and delivering clear output under pressure, consulting, business transformation, or similar environments are a strong fit.
- Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or discovery sessions with non-technical stakeholders, comfortable being the person at the front of the room.
- Some experience qualifying opportunities or tracking benefits, whether formally (business cases, ROI models) or in practice (measuring outcomes, reporting on what changed).
- Practical exposure to business systems, CRMs, project management tools, or similar platforms, in a professional context.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, whether that's LLMs like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot, AI note-takers like Gong, or automation platforms.
- Familiarity with permissioning, data access controls, or how enterprise system integrations work.
- Experience supporting or contributing to a governance, compliance, or risk process.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis, project management, or AI.
- Competitive Base Salary
