We are looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team in the UK!
As part of our UK commercial team, you'll own new business growth across hospitality and contract catering. You’ll be building your own pipeline, running the sales process end-to-end, and closing deals with multi‑site operators who are ready to optimize how their kitchens run.
Running a profitable and enjoyable foodservice business without sacrificing chef creativity has never been more difficult. FoodOp is on a mission to change that globally.
More than 1000 chefs across 800+ kitchens already use FoodOp daily to manage recipes, menus, procurement, and reporting.
This is a great opportunity to join a fast‑growing company at a pivotal stage of its UK expansion, with real ownership over your pipeline.
About FoodOp
FoodOp is a modular F&B management platform built for professional kitchens. We help multi‑site operators in hospitality and contract catering manage menus, control food costs, track allergens, and report on sustainability - all in one place.
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Own and build your pipeline, prospecting and qualifying opportunities across contract catering, hospitality groups, and hotel operators in the UK.
- Run the full sales cycle from first conversation through demo, proposal, and close
- Build tailored proposals and ROI cases that speak to each prospect’s specific operational challenges.
- Work closely with Customer Success to ensure a smooth handover from signed deal to onboarding.
- Represent FoodOp at industry events, trade shows, and conferences across the UK.
- Feed market and competitive insight back to product and leadership to help shape FoodOp’s UK go-to-market.
What We’re Looking For
We imagine that you:
- 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, hospitality tech, or a related field, and are comfortable owning a quota.
- Are self‑motivated, organised, and know how to build and manage a pipeline and carry a quota
- Are comfortable selling to operators and decision‑makers at multi‑site hospitality and catering businesses.
- Can build genuine relationships and trust with prospects, and know how to navigate longer, considered sales cycles.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in person.
- It’s considered a plus if you have an interest in or exposure to foodservice, hospitality, or contract catering.
The role is on‑site in East London, with travel to prospect and customer sites and industry events across the UK.
Ways of Working
You will be part of a growing, high‑impact commercial team in the UK. Decisions are made through dialogue and alignment, and we value ownership, follow‑through, and continuous learning.
You will work closely with Jonathan Blauenfeldt Nielsen, Head of UK&I, and Nichlas Saul, CEO, and collaborate regularly with our Commercial and Product teams in Copenhagen.
This is a role for someone who wants real ownership over their pipeline, is energised by closing new business, and wants to grow within a fast‑moving, international company.
