The business is keen to appoint a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical OR Mechanical bias) to join the Engineering Team and work across the full scope of production facilities on site.
The Role:
- Work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (No evenings or weekends);
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance, liaising with the production department;
- Ensure that machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime;
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and conduct routine and condition-based maintenance;
- Diagnose faults and research solutions to stop re-occurring breakdowns;
- Establish different maintenance procedures and protocols;
- Conduct and oversee maintenance process audits;
- Be involved with Project Engineering at a site benefitting from considerable CAPEX investment;
- Assist with the implementation of robust Engineering systems;
- Work closely with all departments: Operations, Manufacturing, Quality/Technical, Supply Chain;
- Work with the production team to improve production flow, throughput and productivity on a variety of products.
