The
Role: The appointed Mechanical Design Engineer will
- Produce 2D & 3D Drawings that meet technical product specification standards.
- Calculate geometric tolerances.
- As each project is bespoke, the Mechanical Design Engineer will liaise with customers directly and through the Project Sales Teams to identify exact requirements.
- The Mechanical Design Engineer will also be responsible for material selection, estimating costs for machine manufacture.
- Design for CNC manufacture.
- Correct highlighted flaws in designs and communicate with the manufacturing team to engineer pre-production prototypes.
- Design a wide variety of machinery and systems including: Handling Systems, Conveyors, Precision Components, Mechanical Cutting Machinery, Ultrasonic Cutting Systems.
