What You\’ll Be Doing:

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you\’ll play a pivotal role in leading high-impact sourcing projects across multiple categories. You\’ll manage tenders, lead and coach a team of Buyers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class procurement outcomes that support our 3-Year Strategy and priorities such as Net Zero and Social Value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing projects and ensure delivery of value, supply chain resilience, and alignment with strategic goals
• Manage and coach Buyers, ensuring high performance and development
• Deliver sourcing events from start to finish-independently and via your team
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to uncover future sourcing opportunities
• Promote the value of strategic sourcing across the business and client base
• Monitor commodity markets and macroeconomic trends to inform decision-making
• Apply best-in-class procurement insights and continuously improve sourcing frameworks
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning within your supply base
• Horizon-scan contract expiries and market shifts to drive proactive sourcing strategies
• Support sustainable sourcing initiatives and contract compliance

What You Bring:

• Strong background in strategic procurement and/or category management, ideally in retail, foodservice, or FMCG
• Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes
• Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills in fast-paced environments
• Confident decision-maker with sharp commercial acumen
• Proven record of delivering cost savings and value in challenging markets
• Experience managing and mentoring team members
• Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
