What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead sourcing projects and ensure delivery of value, supply chain resilience, and alignment with strategic goals
- Manage and coach Buyers, ensuring high performance and development
- Deliver sourcing events from start to finish—independently and via your team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to uncover future sourcing opportunities
- Promote the value of strategic sourcing across the business and client base
- Monitor commodity markets and macroeconomic trends to inform decision-making
- Apply best-in-class procurement insights and continuously improve sourcing frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning within your supply base
- Horizon-scan contract expiries and market shifts to drive proactive sourcing strategies
- Support sustainable sourcing initiatives and contract compliance
What You Bring:
- Strong background in strategic procurement and/or category management, ideally in retail, foodservice, or FMCG
- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes
- Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills in fast-paced environments
- Confident decision-maker with sharp commercial acumen
- Proven record of delivering cost savings and value in challenging markets
- Experience managing and mentoring team members
- Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
