About the Role
As a Client Account Manager, you will act as a strategic partner to NHS Trusts in your region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll build strong relationships, identify opportunities for growth and savings, and support Trusts in maximising the value Foodbuy delivers through NHS Supply Chain: Food. This is a client‑facing, high‑impact role ideal for someone who thrives on stakeholder engagement, problem‑solving, and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Build credible, long‑lasting relationships with key NHS stakeholders, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for growth, savings, and improved service delivery.
- Analyse purchasing patterns, savings opportunities, and business risks to support Trusts in meeting KPIs and targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of Trust activity, ensuring structured account planning and consistent performance delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams — Procurement, Finance & Data, Operations — to ensure activity is tracked, communicated, and executed effectively.
- Represent Foodbuy and NHS Supply Chain: Food professionally across all Trust engagements, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and identify opportunities.
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and meeting KPIs.
- Outstanding communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Experience building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
- Full UK driver’s licence.
