The Role
Are you passionate about creating safer, healthier workplaces? Do you thrive on driving positive change and supporting colleagues? If so, we want you to join our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Unit as our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Lead the development and delivery of innovative health, safety, and wellbeing policies.
- Provide expert advice to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with UK legislation.
- Oversee incident investigations, audits, and risk management.
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and engagement across the Agency.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum Level 6 Health & Safety qualification.
- Chartered membership of IOSH (or application in progress, due within 12 months).
- An IOSH training qualification (or willingness to complete within 6 months).
- Significant experience in health and safety within a complex, multi-site organisation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience in training development and delivery, and using data to drive improvements.
