The Food Standards Agency is seeking an Official Veterinarian to join our Field Operations team. You will provide veterinary leadership within approved establishments, directing plant inspection teams to ensure meat official controls are delivered.
You will conduct ante-mortem and post-mortem inspections, assess food chain information, and verify compliance with animal welfare, hygiene, food safety and traceability requirements across the Wales and West region, including unannounced inspections
