Step into a dynamic and rewarding position as an Account Manager, reporting directly to the Country Director. This newly created, full-time permanent role offers the chance to manage a portfolio of prestigious Retail accounts, including Tesco and Marks & Spencer. Supported by an established and experienced Commercial team, you will cover national UK customers across Retail, Industry, and food service sectors. This hybrid working role requires occasional commutes to the Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage major customer accounts
Oversee key metrics: volume, value, profit
Generate initiatives for mutual growth
Liaise with international colleagues across multi-functional roles
Plan and execute NPD/Category Management
Forecasting and supply chain delivery
Represent the company in ambassadorial and trade marketing capacities
About You:
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
Minimum 3 years of Commercial Food FMCG experience
Degree-level education – Prior Retail customer involvement at Exec or Manager level
Experience in Chilled/Frozen sectors
Private Label experience
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & and PowerPoint
Valid driving licence
Desirable:
Understanding of Category Management and trend analysis
Chilled/Frozen experience in a protein‐based supplier
Brand experience
