We’re looking for a confident, people-focused ER professional who is knowledgeable about employment law, unions, and navigating complex workplace conversations. You’ll be the go-to for all things employee relations – from sorting conflicts to shaping policy and making sure everything stays above board. This is your opportunity to step into a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with managers and employees across the business, ensuring a fair, consistent, and drama-free environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Giving wise, practical advice on policies, employee issues and change programmes
  • Handling grievances, investigations and performance matters with confidence
  • Building solid relationships with unions and helping maintain collective agreements
  • Using data to spot trends and improve the employee experience
  • Playing a big part in creating a positive, inclusive workplace

What you’ll bring:

  • MCIPD (or working towards it)
  • 5+ years’ ER experience
  • Top-notch communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • A cool head and a people-first mindset

And the travel bit… Hard to give a straight answer – it depends on the cases – but you’re probably looking at 2 to 3 days a week on the road working across a total of 10 sites, dependent on where you are needed.
