Location: Home based

Base Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

With an average 6 hours of overtime a week you will earn circa £40k - £42k pa (Salary will go up quickly as you gain experience).

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Territory to be covered: Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, London, Surrey, Kent;
  • Servicing and maintaining bakery machinery on customer sites;
  • Routine service visits, planned preventative maintenance, and breakdown resolutions at customer sites;
  • Problem Solving, Fault Finding and Machine Modifications to Food Production equipment at customer sites;
  • Work with customers advising them on Standard Operating Procedures and how to use the Machinery effectively;
  • Initially servicing bakery equipment at major supermarket sites and independent bakeries;
  • Service larger more complex bakery equipment at factory sites as you gain knowledge and experience;
  • Opportunities to attend training courses in: Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Germany;
  • Work closely with existing Field Service Engineers and the After Sales team;
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme;

The Person:

  • Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 Engineering;
  • Some experience working with Machinery such as Conveyors, Production Lines, Material Handling, Mechanical Handling, Packaging Equipment;
  • Keen to learn and develop a successful career.
