Project Engineer (Contract) Cumbria 6-8 week project, commencing mid-February 2025 Great opportunity for a Project Engineer to take on a contract for a period of around 6 to 8 weeks commencing in February 2025. The project will encompass the Installation and Commissioning of a Production Line encompassing Automatic Tray Handling systems, rotary moulders, mixers, dough elevators, dough handling equipment. The Project Engineer appointed will act as the link between the Customer (Food Manufacturer) and the Engineers contracted to Install and Commission the equipment. As part of this CAPEX project the Project Engineer will: * Support the Installation and Commissioning Engineers; * Ensure the project is delivered on time, meeting cost, quality, safety and customer satisfaction; * Quickly establish good working relationships with the Contract Installation and Commissioning Engineers who will be working hands-on to complete the work; * Quickly gain credibility with the Customer, such as the Factory Manager, Engineering Manager, Health & Safety or Operations. * Support the project team in the installation and commissioning of the plant and machinery, ensuring they have everything they need to complete the work; * Work in a consultative and engaging manner, ensuring the Installation team adhere to the brief and timescale, and reporting progress to the Customer; * Flag and remedy any substandard performance at the Installation stage; *…
