The Food and Drink Federation is looking for a Digital Executive to help keep our digital channels accurate, accessible, engaging and effective.

This is a hands-on role supporting the day to day management of FDF's website, CRM and email marketing platforms.

You will help colleagues deliver high quality digital content and campaigns, support platform users, maintain good data and contribute to improvements that enhance digital performance and member experience.

You will work closely with colleagues across marketing, membership, commercial, events, policy and communications, helping to ensure digital content and campaigns are delivered smoothly, consistently and in line with FDF's brand and digital standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Build, update and maintain web pages, helping to ensure content is clear, accessible, effective and aligned to FDF brand and digital standards.
  • Support the delivery of email communications, newsletters and campaigns, including segmentation, testing, scheduling and performance tracking.
  • Maintain and update CRM and marketing platform data to support good data quality, compliance and effective audience targeting.
  • Provide first-line support and practical guidance to colleagues using the website, CRM and email marketing platforms.
  • Help troubleshoot digital platform issues, escalating technical problems where needed.
  • Use analytics to report on digital and campaign performance, identify insights and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to process notes, guidance, training materials, SEO, testing and quality assurance across FDF's digital channels.
  • Contribute to content planning, SEO, testing and quality assurance across FDF's digital channels.

Requirements

  • Experience working with digital content and platforms, including CMS, CRM and email marketing systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to review content, links, formatting, data and user journeys accurately.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt content for different digital channels and audiences.
  • Confidence using analytics and reporting tools, such as GA4 or similar, to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work to deadlines.
  • A collaborative and service-focused approach, providing practical support and guidance to colleagues while knowing when to elevate issues appropriately.
  • An understanding of accessibility, data protection and email marketing best practice, or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
  • Knowledge of image editing and design tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO tools and digital optimisation techniques.
