What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting food safety and health & safety inspections and records audits at client premises.
  • Producing compliance reports and practical recommendations for clients following each visit.
  • Delivering risk assessments, including occupational, manual handling and PPE, particularly in hospitality environments.
  • Supporting new client onboarding, including implementation of our digital compliance platform, ALERT65.
  • Providing tailored advice, consultancy and training across a wide range of environments.
  • Acting as Account Manager for a portfolio of clients, typically individual or small group hospitality operators.
  • Conducting investigations into incidents such as food poisoning, allergen issues or contamination.
  • Participating in our Advice Line rota, offering expert guidance and managing reactive queries.
  • Providing feedback internally to support continuous improvement across systems and operations.
  • Engaging in ongoing CPD and team development.

What We’re Looking For

  • A solid background in food safety and health & safety auditing, ideally within hospitality.
  • A minimum Level 4 Food Safety qualification is essential, with a BSc in Environmental Health or equivalent experience highly desirable.
  • NEBOSH (or equivalent health & safety qualification) is required, particularly given the scope of audits across leisure environments such as hotels, spas and swimming pool facilities.
  • Experience auditing higher-risk or complex environments (e.g. leisure, hotels, mixed-use sites) would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong time management, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • A relationship-led approach, with a focus on delivering a high-quality client experience.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
