Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity. By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career. Our local Ashburton store is looking for a Sales Specialist to join the team! This is due to an internal promotion within the team. These positions don’t often come up in our flagship store! This is a role with real variety! You will be providing support and advice to our customers and assisting in the busy operation of our retail store. You’ll be handling inwards and outwards goods; inventory control and stock takes. With the opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, there couldn’t be a better place to start. Please note, hours of work will be Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm and rostered Saturdays 9am – 12pm.

Mōu | About You. We’re looking for down to earth team players who’ll enjoy a role that keeps them busy and offer the chance for some great farming banter with our friendly customers. Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we’re equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry. Other key things we’re on the lookout for include:

  • A full, clean drivers’ licence
  • Valid Forklift Licence would be beneficial
  • A good level of physical fitness – you’ll have no trouble getting your daily steps in!
