We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. Supporting two of Northern Ireland's most iconic brands, fonaCAB and Crawford Clarke Cars, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth financial operations of our busy office. We are looking for someone to work between 24 and 30 hours per week. Candidates who can offer flexibility within their weekly schedule to meet business needs will be at a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ledger Management: Process purchase, sales, and nominal ledgers for both brands.
  • Reconciliations: Perform bank, supplier statement, and company credit card reconciliations.
  • Payment Processing: Handle driver credit payments and ensure suppliers are paid within credit terms.
  • Banking & Debt: Prepare bank lodgements and manage debt accounts.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate car and parts stock lists for the showroom.
  • Payroll Support: Provide essential cover for weekly and monthly payroll during holiday periods.
  • Query Resolution: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external financial queries.

The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can handle urgent requests in real-time while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professional integrity.

Essential Requirements:

  • Software Proficiency: Direct experience using Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll is essential.
