People Business Partner Some HR roles are all process. We're looking for a People Business Partner who loves helping managers navigate the messy, human side of business. Someone who knows that the best employee relations cases are often the ones that never become formal because you've coached a manager to have the right conversation at the right time. You'll be the trusted advisor, sounding board and problem-solver who helps our leaders make great people decisions while balancing commercial reality with fairness, empathy and common sense. You'll partner with managers across the business, helping them tackle everything from performance conversations and employee relations to coaching, recruitment support and day-to-day people challenges. Working alongside the Head of People, you'll: Build trusted relationships with managers who genuinely value your advice. Lead on employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance. Conduct investigations and support formal processes where needed. Help managers understand their options rather than simply telling them what to do. Support and mentor the HR Advisor, sharing your knowledge and experience. Balance risk, legislation and commercial reality to deliver practical people solutions. Contribute to improving People processes and driving positive change across the business. Has experience as a Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or People Partner. ✔ Knows employee relations inside out and can confidently manage complex cases. ✔ Understands employment law but knows that great HR is about judgement, not just policy. ✔ You prefer partnering with managers over sitting behind policies. You want to influence decisions and make a genuine impact across a growing business. You enjoy going into the office a couple of days a week Our Client is building a People function that's trusted, commercially minded and genuinely adds value. You'll have the opportunity to shape how they support their people, work closely with an experienced Head of People, and play a key role in creating a positive, high-performing culture. If you're looking for a role where your judgement matters just as much as your HR knowledge—and where you'll be trusted to make a real difference—we'd love to hear from you.
