Fólk is partnering with a well-established HR consultancy based in Wakefield, as they search for an experienced HR Advisor to join their close-knit team.

The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced consultancy environment and enjoys building strong relationships with clients.
You'll manage your own portfolio of education clients, providing expert HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Employee Relations will form the core of the role (around 70%), with the remaining 30% focused on a variety of HR initiatives including policy development, organisational change, recruitment, employee engagement, wellbeing and strategic HR projects.
Working closely with Headteachers, School Business Managers and senior leaders, you'll provide pragmatic advice on a wide range of people matters, ensuring clients receive an exceptional level of service.
The role is primarily based from the consultancy's modern Wakefield office, where the team work collaboratively and support one another, with regular travel to client sites across the region.
About You You'll already have solid experience operating as an HR Advisor and be confident managing a varied Employee Relations caseload from start to finish.
Comfortable working at pace, you'll enjoy juggling multiple priorities while delivering a high standard of service to your clients.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working within a smaller business where autonomy, flexibility and collaboration are genuinely valued.
You'll be joining an experienced, friendly team led by an exceptional senior HR leader who encourages personal development, knowledge sharing and authenticity.
To be successful you'll have: Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
Strong Employee Relations experience including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance management.
Excellent knowledge of UK employment law.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to manage a busy and varied workload with confidence.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
Experience within the education sector or a unionised environment would be highly advantageous.
