To be successful in this role, you must be someone who enjoys managing a large Employee Relations caseload whilst getting involved in lots of HR projects in areas like Wellbeing, Recruitment, Policy, Talent and Reward. This is a true generalist role.

You must be comfortable working out of either the Wakefield or Chesterfield offices most of the week depending on where you're based (some travel is required to sites every so often) but you will have the opportunity to work from home some of the week also to get your head down when you need some peace and quiet.

Our client has a very close knit and stable team who love working together so you must enjoy working collaboratively and at pace. This is a very busy role with lots of opportunity for development and you will report into a supportive manager with a high challenge/high reward style.

Ideally, to be considered for the role, you will have worked in Construction/Manufacturing or Logistics before, be resilient, love working at pace and have a good sense of humour. Whilst the HR team here are well respected by the business, they're also a relaxed and approachable bunch who don't take themselves too seriously!

We're keen to talk to immediately available candidates or individuals on a 1 month notice only. They offer a generous salary, car allowance of £4k, bonus and great additional benefits.
