Flk is partnering with a boutique HR consultancy, based in easy commuting distance of North/East Leeds, North Yorkshire, York and Harrogate, as they search for an HR Advisor to join their team of 6. The organisation is extremely values driven and they have created a fun, hardworking and passionate team of HR generalists who are motivated by providing a high level of service to their clients.
You will provide effective support to an incredibly diverse client group of SMEs (you'll manage a portfolio of approximately 10 clients) on a wide range of HR initiatives such as generalist advice & policy support, HR project work, employee engagement, employee relations, recruitment & selection, reward and learning & development. The Employee Relations aspect of this role is likely to be approximately 70%, with HR projects often more strategic, taking up the remaining 30%.
You must be comfortable with a high volume of work as this team works at pace! There will be some travel to other sites in the North of the UK but you will be based mainly at head office in Wetherby (the team tend to work in the office 3 days per week).
This role would suit someone who likes working in a small company with peers who are relaxed & supportive and where flexibility is given in abundance (although this role needs to be full time, the MD can offer flexibility within the working day, to fit with school pickups for example). The business boasts a low turnover of staff, an amazing senior HR leader, and everyone genuinely enjoys the variety of work, the autonomy to manage their own workload, and the chance to be truly authentic.
