Opportunity for an experienced healthcare architect to grow into a sector leader, building purposeful and joyful spaces for healing, at a well-established 'family-like' practice with loyal clients and excellent working culture.

Joining as a Senior Architect, you will initially be responsible for leading the feasibility of an NHS hospital for a new client that has just come online, as well as delivering an existing project through RIBA Stages 2-7. Working under an approachable and supportive team of directors, you will be coordinating small in-house design, multi-stakeholder, consultant and contract teams, balancing design intent, technical requirements, budget constraints, and programme pressures to deliver transformative healthcare facilities. For the right candidate, this role also offers the opportunity to progress into a senior management position, becoming a key player in their healthcare team, fostering new and existing client relationships, networking and continuing to grow the practice’s specialist offering.

Candidate: Experienced architect with a career defined by UK healthcare and hospital projects. Proven track record of leading teams and delivering complex projects through RIBA Stages 1–7. Strong project leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate contractors, consultants, and multi-stakeholder groups. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently, remain calm under pressure, prioritise collaborative problem solving and inspire success in teams. An aptitude for fostering client relationships and networking. Experience working within a BIM environment.
