Design-led studio seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead concept development across Build-to-Rent and commercial residential projects, shaping creative direction while guiding teams from concept through to delivery.
The Senior Interior Designer plays a central role in shaping and delivering the studio’s creative output across Build-to-Rent and commercially focused interior design schemes. Working closely with senior leadership, the role involves leading concept development, establishing strong design narratives and directing the overall aesthetic and material direction of projects. The position requires oversight of design progression from early concept through to detailed resolution, ensuring design packages are cohesive, commercially aware and sufficiently developed before transitioning into procurement and delivery.
You will guide the workflow of the interior design team, manage project timelines and provide mentorship to designers while maintaining active involvement in the creative work itself.
The ideal candidate is an experienced and confident designer who brings creativity, clarity and considered judgement to their work. You are someone who leads through contribution, guiding teams through insight and expertise rather than authority alone. You are comfortable presenting ideas and design narratives to clients, while also remaining open to collaboration and refinement throughout the design process. A strong understanding of both concept development and technical resolution is essential, alongside an appreciation for the commercial realities of delivering projects.
You will have a natural ability to manage multiple projects, build strong relationships with colleagues and consultants, and maintain a calm, organised approach within a fast-moving studio environment. Curiosity, design ambition and attention to detail are balanced by a practical mindset and an enthusiasm for seeing projects through from early concept stages to fully resolved delivery packages.
This is a collaborative, design-led interior architecture and design studio delivering commercially driven residential and Build-to-Rent projects. The studio places strong emphasis on thoughtful concept development, clear design narratives and well-resolved projects that transition smoothly from creative stages into procurement and delivery. Working within a lean, highly collaborative team, designers contribute actively to both creative direction and project progression. Seniority within the studio is defined by capability, contribution and creative leadership rather than hierarchy. The environment encourages open dialogue, constructive challenge and shared responsibility for maintaining a consistently high design standard across multiple projects.
