An internationally recognised design practice is seeking a Senior FF&E Designer to join its growing London studio. Working across an exceptional portfolio of large-scale private residential and hospitality projects in the UK and internationally, you will lead the FF&E design process from concept through to installation, creating interiors where every detail has been carefully considered.
This is a highly creative, design-led role, suited to someone who enjoys pushing ideas beyond the ordinary. Drawing inspiration from architecture, history, travel, craftsmanship, and the wider art and design world, you will develop beautifully bespoke interiors that feel timeless, distinctive and deeply personal to each client.
Working closely with the Design Directors, wider design team and dedicated procurement team, you will oversee the creative development of each project through concept design, documentation, supplier collaboration, site visits and installation. You will also mentor junior designers while contributing to a collaborative studio recognised for delivering some of the industry's most exceptional private residential and hospitality interiors.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior FF&E Designer with a refined design eye and a genuine passion for craftsmanship, exceptional furniture and beautifully considered interiors.
- 7+ years' experience delivering FF&E on luxury residential and/or hospitality projects.
- A highly creative and conceptual designer with an exceptional eye for aesthetics, proportion, materials and finishes.
- Extensive knowledge of furniture, lighting, textiles, sanitaryware, decorative hardware and bespoke joinery.
- Experience preparing high-quality presentations, FF&E schedules, specifications and drawing packages through to tender stage.
- Strong technical understanding of bespoke furniture, joinery and fabrication, with the ability to review shop drawings and samples.
- Comfortable collaborating with specialist makers, galleries, antique dealers, artists and suppliers to source and develop unique pieces.
- Able to build trusted relationships with UHNW clients, providing calm, considered advice and inspiring confidence throughout the design process.
- Experience attending site, reviewing installations and ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
- Happy to travel internationally as projects require.
