A front-facing Business Development Manager role focused on prospecting, relationship building and generating high-value opportunities in the commercial interiors market. The Business Development Manager is a growth-focused role centred on prospecting, relationship building and early-stage opportunity generation within the commercial interiors and workplace sectors. Based between a London showroom and hybrid working, the role focuses on identifying upcoming projects, building relationships with architects, designers, consultants and corporate clients, and positioning the business to be invited to tender for high-value opportunities.
Working closely with the Head of Business Development and wider sales team, you will be responsible for building a strong pipeline and driving long-term market penetration. The ideal candidate has at least two years’ experience in a business development or new business role within commercial interiors, furniture, FF&E, workplace or a related sector. You are a natural “hunter” who enjoys prospecting, opening doors and building new relationships. Highly motivated, resilient and organised, you are comfortable managing a pipeline, using CRM systems and working in performance-driven environments.
