This position is for a BIM Manager to join a leading design studio on either a contract or permanent basis, supporting the delivery of a high-profile hotel project in New York. You will lead the implementation of Revit within a studio that is currently AutoCAD-based, setting up BIM from the ground up including templates, families, drawing standards and workflows, and ensuring the project is fully Revit-ready.

Working closely with the project and leadership teams, you will act as the BIM expert, advising on best practice, defining project requirements and embedding efficient processes for the duration of the project. You will also support the setup and coordination of a project-specific team, including BIM Coordinators and Revit Designers or Technicians, to ensure efficient production, delivery and day-to-day model coordination.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience implementing BIM from scratch on live projects, including templates, families and drawing standards.
  • Exceptional Revit knowledge, with the ability to manage, troubleshoot and oversee models across disciplines.
  • Experience working on hospitality or large-scale residential developments, with an understanding of interior architecture and FF&E packages.
  • Ability to establish clear BIM workflows and protocols tailored to a specific project rather than a full studio rollout.
  • Confident working within an AutoCAD-based environment and introducing Revit alongside existing processes.
  • Experience coordinating with external consultants, including architects, MEP and visualisation teams.
  • Strong understanding of drawing packages, model coordination and project delivery through multiple stages.
  • Ability to support and guide BIM Coordinators and Revit Designers or Technicians within a project team.
  • Clear communicator, able to advise both design teams and leadership on BIM requirements and best practice for the project.

Company:

This studio is based in a desirable area of London, with a light-filled and buzzy office that reflects their collaborative and social culture. The team works full-time from the studio, creating a strong sense of energy, creativity and shared purpose.

Benefits:

  • Flexible working hours to support personal commitments.
  • Weekly team breakfast club.
  • Workplace nursery scheme and cycle-to-work scheme available via salary sacrifice.

Applicants must have valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK, as those without will not be eligible. Due to the high volume of applications, we will only be able to respond to those shortlisted for the position. We thank you for your time and interest.
