This position is for a BIM Manager to join a leading design studio on either a contract or permanent basis, supporting the delivery of a high-profile hotel project in New York. You will lead the implementation of Revit within a studio that is currently AutoCAD-based, setting up BIM from the ground up including templates, families, drawing standards and workflows, and ensuring the project is fully Revit-ready.
Working closely with the project and leadership teams, you will act as the BIM expert, advising on best practice, defining project requirements and embedding efficient processes for the duration of the project. You will also support the setup and coordination of a project-specific team, including BIM Coordinators and Revit Designers or Technicians, to ensure efficient production, delivery and day-to-day model coordination.
Applicants must have valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK, valid for the next 3 years, as those without will not be eligible.
This position would suit an experienced BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator with a strong track record of setting up Revit on project-led commissions within design or architecture studios.
- Proven experience implementing BIM from scratch on live projects, including templates, families and drawing standards.
- Exceptional Revit knowledge, with the ability to manage, troubleshoot and oversee models across disciplines.
- Experience working on hospitality or large-scale residential developments, with an understanding of interior architecture.
