Working at a content marketing agency in London, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of social strategies and the delivery of social content across a portfolio of B2C, B2B and membership accounts, plus new-business projects.

This is a client-facing role and requires the ability to think strategically and produce inspirational, engaging and effective content across all social platforms, with a strong understand of paid and organic algorithms, best practice, and industry innovation.

The right candidate will also have strong leadership and project-management skills.

You will lead the content process, from working on new-business pitches, identifying new opportunities with current clients, creating campaigns, developing paid and organic strategies and setting and monitoring KPIs.

As well as managing and developing a small social team, you will also be an ambassador for social – sharing social knowledge, trends and best practice across the agency.

Key responsibilities Collaborating with clients to define objectives and success metrics for social campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall content-marketing strategies.

Oversee the development and execution of full social strategies aligned with client objectives, audience insights and industry trends.

Lead the development of social media content calendars, including planning, scheduling and publishing content across relevant platforms.

Set KPIs and oversee the monitoring and reporting of social channels and paid performance.

Oversee the creation and delivery of inspirational, engaging and effective content, that resonates with target audiences and drives desired actions.

Produce measurable results that win awards.

Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines, messaging and tone-of-voice standards, and optimised for each platform and audience segment.

Lead the brainstorming, organisation and development of social media opportunities across accounts and new business.

Lead a small team of social specialists, providing guidance, mentorship and support to ensure the successful execution of client campaigns.
